Laura van der Heijden: RPS Instrumentalist Award 2025
Huge congratulations to cellist Laura van der Heijden on winning the RPS Instrumentalist Award 2025. Introducing her nomination the RPS said “Everything she does embodies excellence and integrity, fulfilled with heart. Luminous recordings, boundless collaborations, and new commissions showcase an artist truly in her prime.”
On her win, Laura says “I can’t quite believe I’ve been honoured with the RPS Instrumentalist Award! The evening itself was full of a passionate dedication to music – to be a small part of it was a joy and inspiration! My thanks to the RPS and all those who supported me and continue to do so.”
