Attacca Quartet release their first EP on Platoon

Two-time Grammy winning quartet from New York release an EP on Platoon with Maurice Ravel’s String Quartet. The Attacca quartet launch this release at Kings Place, London on 14 March 2025 in the 150th anniversary year of the composer’s birth. In a recent Strad article, cellist Andrew Yee says ‘…there’s something about the Ravel that makes it feel like a friend who you know really well…and the way we’ve shaped it together has been such a rewarding process. When we play it now it feels like we have our heads above the clouds. Our fingers know where to be.’
Further releases on Platoon will include a portrait of Paul Wiancko’s music.
