Cellist Laura van der Heijden with Brno Philharmonic

Taking to the stage of the Janáček Theatre with Dvořák’s much-loved Cello Concerto, this evening and Friday, cellist Laura van der Heijden performs with the Brno Philharmonic and conductor Leoš Svárovský.
Following her concerto debut at the BBC Proms this summer, this season Laura looks forward to recitals with piano partners Jâms Coleman and Tom Poster including at the Cello Biënnale Amsterdam and Wigmore Hall, and concerto appearances with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales with Martinů’s Cello Concerto No. 1 and Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra for Elgar’s Cello Concerto.
