Andrew Litton renews NYC Ballet contract
JBM are delighted to share the news that Andrew Litton has signed another three-year contract with the New York City Ballet, going through to 2028. Andrew Litton comments, ’I’m honoured to share that I’ve signed another three-year contract…It’s been one of the great privileges of my career to lead this orchestra, and I am very excited to see what the next few years have in store for the NYC Ballet!’
Andrew’s work with New York City Ballet has earned praise from critics, dancers, and audiences, bringing new prominence to the Ballet’s orchestra. He began his ballet work while still a Juilliard student, performing as on-stage pianist for Rudolf Nureyev, Natalia Makarova, and Cynthia Gregory. In December 2023 Andrew made his debut with the Royal Ballet, Covent Garden and in April 2025, he will make his debut with the Bayerisches Staatsballett, Munich.
This weekend at NYC Ballet, Andrew will conduct performances of Delibes’ Coppélia, followed by performances of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker over the Christmas period. For more information on upcoming performances visit NYC Ballet
