The Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra (LACO) kicks off its 2024-25 season with the programme Romantics: Schubert’s Trout on Saturday, September 28, at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills. Renowned Finnish pianist Juho Pohjonen joins LACO musicians to perform Schumann’s Piano Quartet in E-flat major and Schubert’s Piano Quintet in A major (Trout). The evening will also feature Schumann’s Three Romances. Curated by LACO concertmaster Margaret Batjer, the performance marks the first in the orchestra’s Chamber Series.
