Tess Jackson jumps in at Garsington
Young British conductor Tess Jackson makes her debut at Garsington Opera with Smetana’s ‘The Bartered Bride’ today. Following a last minute cancellation, Tess is delighted to be jumping in with the sensational cast and Philharmonia Orchestra in the pit for this exciting production and OperaFirst performance.
Recently appointed Associate Conductor of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and named as a ‘Rising Star’ by Classic FM, Tess has recently finished her post-graduate studies in conducting at the Royal Academy of Music with Sian Edwards, graduating with a starred first class degree.
