Laura performs World Premiere with BBC Scottish Symphony

Tonight celebrated cellist Laura van der Heijden performs the World Premiere of Cheryl Frances-Hoad’s new cello concerto with BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra in Glasgow, conducted by Ryan Wigglesworth.
Cheryl’s exciting new work takes its inspiration from nature and will be available to stream on BBC Sounds following to its first broadcast next week (25 May).
Later this season Laura performs CPE Bach with the Aurora Orchestra – her second project as Artist in Focus in Kings Place – on 17 June.
